Didnβt mean to hit send. Also, Iβve realized how much this waiting is as much a βthe destination is the journeyβ metaphor. As annoying as that sounds, there really is so much to learn in our waiting journeys. And since we have no control over the wait, we might as well evolve as we do. π Hang in there. I believe in you!
Thanks, Mer - and back at you! And yes, so true how much of this process (and life) is the journey in between the milestones we strive to hit. So much journey!! Xo
You know that when I share my mantra, it's as much for me as you :) There is so much we cannot control, but I like to think that continuing to show up, continuing to try, continuing to eek out that next 1K words...it makes a difference. Because when it does happen for us (and I truly believe it's a matter of when and not if) we will be ready to withstand those inevitable slings and arrows. And the scar tissue from those rejections will help us when we get tagged in a one-star review or Kirkus writes a scathing review ;)
Iβm so glad a visit to Ontario made it into your summer lineup! π©· Hoping this slower season of rest energizes you for a fall full of big things. π€π»π€π»π€π»And I canβt wait to read the rest of your book!! π
Iβm just about to start the Margo book, too!

A yawning reset doesn't sound half bad! I hope you enjoy it and are fueled for some major writing in the fall. Congrats on The End!
Thanks Kolina!

Yes, I do know that. And I really do believe it, too. <3
