So glad you had a great trip! I'm currently reading The Husbands by Holly Gramazio, and This Summer Will Be Different is up next for me! I really want to read Catherine Newman's books but I'm nervous the grief might be too much for me (even as I just now realize all my novels so far have a big grief through line), but hopefully someday.
I would recommend giving Newman's first book a try. Even though it deals with death and loss, there is so much joy and even humor. It's a refreshing and unconventional framework that I really loved. 💜
Just had to say that I'm here for the rom com! Border patrol agent with a toxic positivity problem tries to brighten angry traveler's day, but moods reverse when everyone gets snowed in at the small Canadian airport ... which obviously has only one bed?
